I finished up some more dwarves last night. These are a combination of Grenadier dwarves (spear) and GW dwarves (heroes and standards).

The dwarves turned out quite fine despite the massive clipping of the integral base required.

The only real visual flaw is the injection point in the mid-back. I suppose I could have puttied this (capes?) or used some thick paint but it seemed like too much effort for a fun little army.

You can really see the detail on the GW figures I got from Tim as part of a job lot. I quite like these guys as heroes.
Up next: Some dwarven heavy cavalry is being painted, I have primered 24 more 15mm AWI guys, and I also have some dwarf shooters to take care of. Should be a busy week with the club on Tuesday.

Those look wicked :)
and the two lines seem to blend really well
Thanks--yes, they do. The grenadier dwarves (now from em4) are a real deal if you like monopose (which I do).
They look great Bob, but what are you going to do with all these new HOTT goodies???
Play! I'm off to have a go with Bruce on Monday afternoon.
