III/40 Vikings, 790-1280 AD
This Viking army comprises various 11 bases of 4Bd or 4Wb (depending on the list). These are mostly 28mm Wargames Factory plastics with a few GW and Old Glory figures mixed in. The standard is from the Wargames Factory Saxon box.
For some ranged shooting, there are two bases of 2Bw. Again, Wargame Factory plastics. I love the cost and ease of assembly with these figures. A few more poses (perhaps by interspersing from Gripping Beast plastics) would probably have been a good idea.
There are also two bases of 2Ps (also plastics).
The single base of 3Cv are Conquest Games plastic Normans that I converted. I selected mailed bodies, round shields and added some extra Viking heads.
Finally, there is one base of 7Hd. A mixture of Old Glory and Wargames Factory.
To add a fantasy element, I used this fellow to create a hero figure. He's huge and berserker-like.
I wanted to add some mobility to this army so I used these three Heroclix gyre falcons to create three flyer units for HoTT.
The clubs auction generously provided a camp for these fellows.
