It gives a planet that is then more spherical (2/3rds of a sphere ;-)), and another that just sticks out above the surface. It can bring some "height" on the table.

Another idea I've done: stick a wire in one of the planets, than add a little sphere at the other end, thus creating a "moon" that is floating over its planet (and the tabletop).

Asteroids: for some reason, I also found they work better when put on flight stand. Makes them easier to move around if you want to have a moving asteroid field.

Phil Dutréhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13607941040736764291noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8978918096761701249.post-28989157884290269622023-07-18T11:08:30.316-07:002023-07-18T11:08:30.316-07:00Looks good to me, now we just need to see it in pe...Looks good to me, now we just need to see it in person!Terry Silverthornhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02873668652853883440noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8978918096761701249.post-19381477934205531492023-06-11T14:16:52.867-07:002023-06-11T14:16:52.867-07:00I like what you have done here.
