Zombtober: Week 5 and Happy Hallowe'en!

To finish out Zombtober and celebrate Hallowe'en, I painted up some Pulp Figures monsters (who are technically undead so close enough to Zombies to count).

I bought these (plus a few more pulp figures) with some birthday cash. The gravestone will join the rest of the Gotham graveyard markers.

Dracula has a real Monster Squad look to him. I was less thrilled with how girlfriend turned out.

The Bride is lovely sculpt. I'm to sure where the pink came from on her dress. And this is my second Frankenstein from Pulp Figures.

The packs also came wth various flunkies, foes, and victims. Now onto some coppers, dames, and punks. Happy Hallowe'en!

Zombtober Week 4: Last of the Zeds

We're not quite at the end of Zombtober, but these are the last of the Zombicide figures (three boxes worth!) that I have.

Jessica Fletcher from Murder She Wrote made me laugh.

There were also these dogs in the boxes that I painted up.

Up next: For the last post of the month (on Hallowe'en no less), some movie monsters!

Zombtober: Week 3

Almost finished with my Zombicide figures (six more to go--will be done next week!). A few more "not" characters and their Zombivore counterparts.

I've been fiddling around with washes on these characters to take advantage of the detail on them.

Super disappointed how this last one photographed. My camera doesn't like red, and Jack has a lot of red on him. Jeans turned out okay, though. Two more weeks of Zeds: next week will be the last of the Zombiecide and we'll finish out October with some classic movie monsters.

Zombtober: Week 2

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving! A few more Zombicide survivors this week.

Work was crazy this week so only two figures, neither of whom I know the real names of.

Up next: More of the same, I think.

Zombtober: Week 1

I'm working my way through the last of the Zombicide figures I have this month. These are survivors and their zombivore counterparts. First up is Hannibal Lector.

No ides who this lady in the evening gown is supposed to be.

And Dirty Harry. These figures have really shown me how I have opted out of pop culture the last 15 years. Most of these "not" figures are unrecognizable to me!

Up next: More survivors.
